After this, the team needed to install the Comms Cabinet. This is where the real work started: the cabinet was where the cables were going to go, so this vital step in organising the wires.

The wires then needed to be resized in order to fit into the cabinet. The cable bunches were organised, and we were then ready to terminate the network modules. In the cabinet, we installed: over 300 Data Points on 13 patches. We terminated the Patch Panels so they were ready for testing, all front-facing network points, and installed back boxes and face plates. We then terminated and tested all Network Points using tone and test fluke testers. After this, we used Net Alley Net Scout/ Fluke testers once the network points were live, and switches were installed.

We then patched each network cable for all network ports to 8 x Zyxel GS1930 48 Port POE Switches with 10GB Uplink Switches with fibre modules. A core switches was used in this process to manage all of the switches more efficiently on the network. We also installed and commissioned Zyxel ATP 500 Nebula Firewall to manage 250 Users network traffics ecurely. The ATP 500 security firewall uses AI Sandboxes features as well as the traditional GAV, IPS, IDS Proetction on the network.

The team then fitted a 1GB leased line to enable the building to have internet. So the network was secure, we installed and configured a Zyxel ATP 500 firewall, along with other network security. The lates firmware for network switches were updated, as well as configuring VLANs and subnets for LAN, Guest Wi-Fi, CCTV and Internal networks.

Lastly, Vibrant was responsible for installing six Zyxel AX210 Wi-Fi 6 Access Points across 3 floors to handle both the corporate and guest VLANs.
